This section has vacation home rentals on the beach, and near the beach. As we have mentioned before, near the beach can be across the road, or a half mile or so away. We will try to list the distance to the nearest beach access, so you will know if it is in easy walking distance or not. Of course you may be able to save a bit of money in some cases.
This pretty little lake hasn't been wasted either, there is a bike and pedestrian path that follows the shore line. If you look closely you can see it.

All of these vacation homes have now been finished. Most of the construction work should now be complete, and merchants have already moved into the commercial buildings. It is a very pretty development, and you will find a neat bike, and walking, path, that runs around the edge of the lake. All in all it is a very attractive development, and a real asset to the beaches of south walton. We will try to get out and take some up to date photos soon. The next new development is Watersound, just down county road C30A, a few miles to the east. It is being developed by the same company, and is still in the very early stages of development.
